EMSBn is Flourishing a Green Environment

|

Part of CMO Operation of this unit, as the higher headquarters directed, is to boost up tree planting activity within camp.

For the past decade, this unit has developed a sense of responsibility to be part of a "green environment". Visible evidences are the existing growing trees inside camp. For this year, this unit is, once again, recreate another milestone in flourishing acacia trees within the camp. With the existing cultured nursery of the unit, this camp has grown 120 pcs of seedlings for the campaign. With the leadership if the Battalion Commander, LTC ARNOLD F FERNANDEZ CE (GSC) PA, the said activity was successfully conducted. More so with the program is to determine the advantage of endemic trees existing inside camp. It was an unfortunate idea that this unit has a small area, in which is prioritized to fit with the multifarious schedule of heavy equipment maintenance. Though, this unit was able to plant two (2) acacia trees and four (4) mahogany trees. Acacia trees were planted in the vacant area along the road to the Army Research Centre (ARC) while the other four (4) mahogany trees were planted behind and across the wall along the C-5 Extension Road.
